What’s been happening since my last Sunday Post:
Same old story. Honestly, I can’t think of much I did this week that isn’t something I’ve been doing for a while now. My daughter and I did finish the maps for THE SONG OF ORPHAN’S GARDEN, though, and I sent them off to my editor!
What I Read:
- I finished reading Not Quite a Ghost by Anne Ursu. Ursu’s stories are always so multi-layered. I love them!
- I finished listening to The Unforgettable Logan Foster and the Shadow of Doubt. Just as good as the first book in the series!
- Then I listened to A Duet for Home by Karina Yan Glaser, a really interesting story that shines a light on the issues surrounding housing for homeless families.
- I also listened to The Troubled Girls of Dragomir Academy by Anne Ursu. (Lots of Anne Ursu – I obviously love her!)
- Next was The Fort by Gordon Korman. This book is incredibly powerful. Definitely recommend it!
- Finally, I listened to the end of Fourth Wing, since I had listened to most of the book awhile back, but my library check-out expired!

It looks like you read a lot last week. I have Fourth Wing reserved at the library. I still have a long wait.
I was surprised I was able to get Fourth Wing on Hoopla – they have the dramatized audiobooks, which are great!
So, your daughter will get a credit in your book? That is very cool.
Yes! It’s exciting for her as well to have a real credit in a book. I have to ask my editor if/when it’s okay to share the maps because I really want to show you guys pictures!
You got a lot read last week! That’s good! I still need to read Fourth Wing. Hopefully I’ll fit it in sometime this year!
That’s so cool that you got the map finished! Will that be the final one in the book then? I enjoyed Fourth Wing and still need to read Iron Flame, but I thought I heard it too had a cliffhanger, so I thought I’d wait it out again! Lol.
