What’s been happening since my last Sunday Post:
I’ve been diving into some marketing stuff for THE SONG OF ORPHAN’S GARDEN this week. It’s hard to believe my book comes out in seven months – I have to start kicking things into high gear! I’m working on a preorder campaign (of course – seeing as how I post them on my blog) – if you’ve already preordered, rest assured, you’ll still be able to get the goodies! And I’ve also been creating some marketing stuff to put in my B&N location for the customers who know me there. 🙂
My MG marketing group also officially launched our website on social media (though I showed it to you guys a few weeks ago), and we’ve had a couple of new cover reveals, so I added those to the site along with a couple of other small updates.

What I Read:
- I read The Labyrinth of Lost and Found by Jordan Lees, which is B&N’s young reader monthly pick. This book is so imaginative and atmospheric!
- I listened to part 1 of the dramatized version of A Court of Mist and Fury. These dramatized audiobooks are such fun!

Book Haul:
I went to a Chris Colfer signing at Anderson’s Bookstore and got signed copies of the 10th Anniversary Edition of THE WISHING SPELL and ROSWELL JOHNSON SAVES THE WORLD! I haven’t taken pics of the books yet, but my mom snapped this picture of me talking to Chris!
And I’m also including pictures of UPRISING by Jennifer A. Nielsen and BRIDGE TO BAD CITY by Ernest Cline, both of which I got from work for review.

I think I remember my daughter talking about the ACOTAR audiobooks. There are full cast, right? I heard the Illuminae Files audiobooks are great too
I loved Uprising. I hope you do too. Good luck with your marketing. I think it’s great you’re working with a group of middle grade authors. I’d recommend you list the publication dates with the covers so bloggers could know good times to feature your books.
