Sunday Post & Giveaways Galore 7/19/15

Posted July 19, 2015 by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction in Sunday Post / 25 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

Last week on FYFA (and in my life):

Strangely, now that I’m back from vacation I have barely managed to blog! Part of the reason is that I finished up one editing project and started two others (and a proofread!) – and I think part of it is just that I’m having a hard time getting back to “regular” life. Anyone else ever have this problem?

Oh, and just so you all know, it looks like I’ll be reading Throne of Glass this month – that’s what won from my Top Ten Hyped Books I’ve Never Read post!

If you’re interested in reviewing Summer Haikus by S. J. Pajonas, let me know! It’s a contemporary New Adult romance set mostly in Japan (lots of Japanese culture mixed in!)

Here’s what you may have missed on the blog last week (not much, I know):

Next week on FYFA:

I’m going to try really hard to post more next week, but I do have a couple of rush editing jobs I’m working on, so we shall see!

  • Get Even and Get Dirty by Gretchen McNeil (review)
  • Monthly Wrap-Up Round Up Announcement
  • Let’s Discuss – something 🙂

I don’t have a ton of new giveaways this week (though Danielle and Lili have lots of new giveaways as part of their Summer of Series) – lots still going on, though!

Lots of good stuff! Have any giveaways or great discussions happening on your site right now? Feel free to share them in the comments!

    • It does sound really good. And I heard the author speak on a “We Need Diverse Books” panel at RT, so I’m eager to read one of her books!

  1. I always feel like I need a vacation from vacation just to catch-up on “regular life”. Nice book haul, I really like the cover for Asunder and it looks pretty interesting too. Have a great week!

  2. It is hard to get back to your usual after a vacation or trip. I just want to veg out and do nothing, most times. I’m intrigued by the cover of This Is Where It Ends. Have a great week and I hope you get at least some “regular life” things done! 🙂

  3. It really can be difficult to get into the groove of blogging after a break. I’m having some trouble this past week, and I don’t really know why! I guess just the summer heat and lots going on. I’m so worn out when I AM home. haha

p.s. I know I’m like ridiculously late on looking at the pages you sent me, but I really do want to work on my skills, so do you want me to still edit what you sent way back when or do you have something else you’d like me to look at?

    • No worries, Lauren! I know how things can get crazy and sometimes it gets hard to fit everything in! Not that it matters much, but I’ll send you a new sample – something that’s more in the forefront of my mind! 🙂

    • Actually, I’ve been okay about actually “working” – it’s the blogging that’s felt like pulling teeth. I usually love it, but I’ve been in a bit of a slump here lately!
