Last week on FYFA (and in my life):
Oops! Due to a scheduling snafoo this post is going up a bit late (I apparently scheduled it for tomorrow)!!
Halloween means lots of fun for the kids – even though they’re getting older, they still love Halloween and everything involved! My older two got to go to an overnight event at our church the night before – they literally stay up all night, so they were pretty tired for Halloween! Nothing else too new this week, except that I started editing Allie Juliette Mousseau’s next book in the Brothers of Ink and Steel series – I love it when I’m just as excited as the rest of her readers to read her next book! 🙂
I JUST realized now that I totally forgot to post a discussion this week. I don’t know why, but it didn’t even occur to me! Oops!

That’s great your kids had a nice Halloween and they still love celebrating. It’s such a fun holiday!
Thanks so much for the mention, dear! I am so glad you had a nice Halloween! It must be hard as the kids get older and the trick or treating starts to wind down. This was the first year that my daughter was super into it. Even my son was pretty content being carried around haha. Goodness, time just goes too fast.
Super excited for this posts with Amy Engel and Pintip Dunn next week too!
We had a wet Halloween here so there wasn’t much kids that came by. We probably had about 130 kids as opposed to the normal 250. I’m glad your kids had fun though. My little boy did, too. 🙂
Have a lovely week, Nicole!
It sounds like your kids had a great time for Halloween, and I guess that’s just one of those things it’s impossible to grow out of, right?
Have a fantastic week and happy reading, Nicole 🙂
I always stress out when a posts doesn’t go live when planned. I had scheduled my sunday post for evening instead of morning once by accident. I also did the schedule it for the wrong day once.
Halloween isn’t as popular here yet, but I enjoyed seeing everyone’s costumes and halloween stories on social media and blogs. I hope you’ll have a great week!
oops i forgot to do the sunday post this week, had a lot going on. o.o glad you enjoyed your halloween.
Great round up Nicole! I would definitely love to participate in Halloween one day, because we don’t usually celebrate it here in Australia. It would definitely be lots of fun for the kids!
An overnight stay at the church… sounds like the kids had fun!
I hope you enjoy Kiss, Kill! Love the cover!
