Sunday Post & Giveaways Galore – 9/25/16

Posted September 25, 2016 by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction in Sunday Post / 25 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

Last week on FYFA (and in my life):

This week was a little more manageable than last, which I’m taking as a good sign. Surely this means that we’re on the road to a non-insane schedule, right? My kids are loving swim team, even though it’s crazily tough—I’m really impressed with them since they’ve never done anything even remotely close to the type of workouts they’re doing now in their swim classes.

I’ve been making good progress on my editing job as well and the classes I teach have been fun. The blogging class has been more difficult than I imagined since all of the kids are doing different types of blogs and none of them (sadly, at least to me) are doing a book blog. I’m finding that some of my knowledge doesn’t transfer easily to all types of blogging. Still, I think it’s going to be a success—it just means I have to do a bit more planning.

Here’s what you may have missed on the blog this past week:

Next week on FYFA:

  • Chasing Truth by Julie Cross – Review, Giveaway & Author Top Ten List
  • Bite-Sized Reviews: Metaltown and Stalking Jack the Ripper
  • The Lying Planet by Carol Riggs – Review & Giveaway
  • Let’s Discuss: Something bookish! 🙂

  1. Glad your week was more manageable. Teaching a blogging class sounds fun. I can see why it might be different to help all different types but I think you will do amazing. Sad no one wants a book blog. 🙁

Happy Birthday to your mom, I hope she has a great day!

Have a great week, Nicole! Happy Reading! ox

  2. It’s great to hear that your week went by remarkably well and that you’re adjusting to the busyness of it all. Sucks that none of your students are book bloggers but I’m sure you a lot of those information are available on line. You can do it!

    Have a great week, Nicole!

  3. Hey, thanks for including my link on your list.
It is sad that none of the kids are doing a book blog in your class, but its cool that they are all making a blog of their own. I bet you will get something out of this since you will be helping them all make their blogs better. I amd glad to hear this week has been better for you, have a great week!

  4. A book blog class! How fun. And wow- nice review of three Dark Crowns. I want to read that one now, I initially wasn’t really interested but after seeing so many good reviews I may have to get these. Although yeah it can be tough waiting for the next book when the first one is so good! I’m tempted to see your spoiler post but I’ll resist somehow, since I’d rather be surprised… I guess. 🙂

  5. Happy Birthday to your mom!!

I’m glad your week went a bit better this time and that things are starting to get into a schedule of sorts. Aw, I’m sorry nobody is doing a book blog! You could really help with that. I know I focus a lot on books, but I know a lot of other types of blogs so if you have questions or need help, let me know!
