Sunday Post: Book Pre-Order Incentives & Giveaways Galore – 3/3/19

Posted March 3, 2019 by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction in Sunday Post / 57 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

This past week on FYFA (and in my life):

Not much new to tell you this week. I think I’m all out of interesting news for now. (If by some chance, you’ve been away and haven’t seen the exciting news I’ve been shouting about, check it out.)  🙂

I have been working on reorganizing my bookshelves now that I’ve gotten rid of a lot of homeschooling books. I’m working on gathering up all my MG books so they’ll be together (right now they’re all spread out and/or in my kids’ rooms). For now, I have them with my classics. Here’s where I’m at so far:

Here’s what you may have missed on the blog since my last Sunday Post:

Always lots of posts at the end/beginning of the month!

Book Blogger Birthdays and Blogoversaries:

Birthday-150 Blogoversary-150x150

Here are the birthdays and blogoversaries for this week! I hope you’ll go wish these bloggers well on their special days! Make sure you check out the calendar to see what you might have just missed or what’s coming up. (If you want to be added to the calendar, it’s easy! Just fill out the birthday/blogoversary form.)

Book Haul:

Purchased:

I joined East/West Lit on one of their books’ birthdays, so of course I had to run out and pick it up. Operation Frog Effect was a wonderful read! (I’ll post more about it in the next week or so.)

Great Discussions/Goings On Around the Blogosphere:

Pre-order Incentives

Listed in order of release date. Any new deals that I just added to the list this week will be denoted with a *** so you can easily find them!

Please note: Almost all pre-order giveaways run “while supplies last,” so I can’t guarantee that they’ll be open until the date listed. Pre-0rder early for your best chance to get all the goodies!

More Awesome Giveaways:

Lots of good stuff! Have any giveaways or great discussions happening on your site right now? Feel free to share them in the comments!

    I’m loving your shelf!!

I have a few giveaways on the blog – more upcoming this week though!

  2. I need time without my dogs to do some reorganizing and cleaning up of my bookshelves. I haven’t been reading as many middle school books since I’m now a high school librarian. But if I could get back into a middle school library, I’d read so many more. Have a great week! Although what could top the awesomeness of the week you just had? 🙂

    • Ha! Your dogs keep you from organizing? Mine are pretty okay with letting me go about my work, but when I cleaned out the closet that has their stuff in it they went crazy. I felt so guilty for tempting them with all their toys and their leashes and not doing anything with them but putting them away! 🙂

  3. I am so happy for you! Good news indeed!

Now that my bookshelves are mostly organized again, I really need to focus on my closet. I don’t know why I keep putting it off. Good luck with your continued organization of your shelf.

I hope you have a great week!

My blog (Win Book Money) has loads of giveaways. Due to my own book addiction I love to enter giveaways myself to feed the beast. It gets a bit expensive after a while :-).

I look for mostly romance giveaways to share with others. Would love you to visit.

    • I was really excited when I realized I could make MORE rainbow shelves downstairs without messing with my rainbow bookshelf that I already have arranged upstairs (with the exception that I swapped out a few of the MG books). The shelf looks even prettier now that I’ve worked on it more—I’ll have to share another pic next week.

  5. How is homeschooling? My stepson wanted to start homeschooling this year because he had such a hard time in grade K. But we told him his ADHD medicines might make it all better (it has), and to give it another try.

    • I started homeschooling when my oldest was in fourth grade. She had a lot of difficulties with attention in school and also had a really tough time with social skills, and life was pretty miserable for us (all). I thought homeschooling was going to be really difficult and drive me crazy, but I actually loved it, and I found that it was a whole lot less stressful for us in the end. The following year, I started homeschooling my middle child as well (at her request). My youngest has still always attended public school (he has special needs that are beyond my abilities), and my middle daughter just went back to public school for freshman year, while my oldest takes all of her classes at the local community college now. So, we’ve done different things with each of our kids—they’re all individuals with their own needs. And I don’t think I’d change anything, actually! (Well, okay, maybe I wish I’d started the homeschooling earlier for my oldest. Live and learn.)

  6. Ohhh that MG bookshelf is so colorful ! I love it !
that’s one genre I really should invest more in .. I still have the old way of thinking, “too old for this” ..
