Sunday Post & Giveaways Galore – 12/4/16

Posted December 4, 2016 by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction in Sunday Post / 14 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

Last week on FYFA (and in my life):

Well, now that NaNo is over, I SHOULD have plenty of free time to gallivant or something (’cause, you know, I love me some gallivanting), but it hasn’t felt that way. First of all, I still have a chapter or so (or a chapter and an epilogue maybe) of my book to write, so I’ve been trying to keep writing every day, at least a little bit. And then there’s all of the things I’ve been putting off because I spent November holed up, writing.  🙂 Still, things are getting back to normal now, and if I didn’t manage to visit your blog in November, I’ll be coming soon!

Here’s what you may have missed on the blog last week:

Next week on FYFA:

  • Blood for Blood by Ryan Graudin – Review (Yeah, I know, I said I’d post this last week. Sigh.)
  • Aftermath by Clara Kensie – Review
  • Let’s Discuss: Something bookish! 🙂

Book Blogger Birthdays and Blogoversaries:

Birthday-150 Blogoversary-150x150

Hope you’ll go wish these people well on their special days!! Check out the calendar to see what you might have just missed or what’s coming up. (If you want to be added to the calendar, you can always fill out the birthday/blogoversary form!)

This week’s events:

Book-Haul

Won:

I won AFTERMATH and HELLO? from Liza Weimer’s I Hope You Forgive Me event and she was super sweet and threw in Amy Fellner Dominy’s latest book for me too. I’ve already read Aftermath and really loved it! Watch my review of that one coming soon.

And I won It Ends with Us from Rachel @ Confessions of a Book Geek, and she threw in an extra gift too! This Harry Potter: Winter at Hogwarts coloring set is super cute!

    • I’m really excited for It Ends with Us. I don’t usually try all that hard to win giveaways anymore, but I entered EVERY giveaway I could find for that book! (I know I could have just bought it, but my husband had just been giving me the evil eye for buying books right when it came out. Considering I have three giant, overflowing bookcases full of books, I can’t blame him!)

  1. I am still amazed at how some of you get all that writing done for NaNoWriMo. I participated the one time and did horribly. I’m not a damn writer anyway, aside from blogging. My mind wanders to much to pull anything together worth a shit.
Anyway, congrats, and I hope you finish up those bits that you still have to write. It really is such an accomplishment.
Another congrats for those giveaway wins too.
