Sunday Post & Giveaways Galore – 2/11/18

Posted February 11, 2018 by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction in Sunday Post / 48 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

This past week on FYFA (and in my life):

Today is my birthday!! Since my husband’s going out of time today (and we have a busy day), we already celebrated yesterday. My family made me a super yummy (and super complicated) dinner, and my husband got me tickets to Hamilton!!! We’re going in a couple of weeks, and I’m so excited!

I also participated in WriteOnCon this weekend, which has been great help, especially with my query (which I had no idea how to write). Since this was also Danielle’s final swim meet of the season, I’m going to have to go through a lot of the materials later, but I have access to them for a month, which is perfect.

Here’s what you may have missed on the blog this past week:

Next week on FYFA:

  • The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton: Review
  • The Ambrose Deception by by Emily Ecton: Review
  • A Macmillan Collector’s Library Valentine’s post with giveaway!!

  1. Happy Birthday! It sounds like you’ve had a good, but busy weekend. I found your blog by following the discussion challenge from someone else’s blog. I think that’s a great idea and I’m going to sign-up for it–so thanks for hosting it.

  2. Happy Birthday Nicole!!! Hope you have a GREAT day yesterday (and TODAY!)! Wow! Hamilton tickets!! Know that’s a popular one! To think what 10 years ago maybe…it was Wicked everyone was after! Lol!! I did see that one though!

Can’t wait to see what you got next week!! Hope you’re still enjoying today!

    • I’m super excited about both things! I’ve been working like crazy on the book, but I think I have the edit done (for now—I’m sure there will be many more!). Now I just have to wait to find out about the workshop. If this one doesn’t work out, there are lots of other opportunities!

  3. Happy Birthday Nicole!!!
Hamilton will be so much fun. That’s a great gift. Your book is really coming along right? I am so glad that you are really pursuing this. It is fun to chase after your dream, even if it is bit scary.
I hope you have a great week!

  4. Happy Birthday!! I remember when WriteOnCon was really new and it was all free – I tried to pay attention to what I could the first couple years, but honestly, until you mentioned it again in a comment to me a week or two ago, I’d forgotten about it! That’s great you are getting month-long access! I hope it helps!

    • He’d love to say he planned in advance, but actually he just paid a lot for the tickets. LOL! It’s practically impossible to get tickets when they first go on sale (I’ve tried!) so a birthday is a good reason to justify the expensive ones that are left when the original sales are done.

  5. Happy (belated) birthday, Nicole! I can’t wait to see what you think of Hamilton. My younger daughter and I saw it last August in Chicago and we thought it was phenomenal! 🙂 I hope you’re having a great week!

  6. ugh sorry I’m so behind catching up with your posts! February has been absolutely crazy! Glad to hear you had a good time in your Birthday and… Hamilton!!! yeah! Probably going next week huh? We’re going in a couple of weeks, and I’m so excited!

and yay for WriteOnCon too! OMG you are querying! good luck Nicole!
