Sunday Post: Pre-Order Deals & Giveaways Galore – 5/20/18

Posted May 20, 2018 by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction in Sunday Post / 32 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

This past week on FYFA (and in my life):

Yesterday was my daughter Danielle’s final track meet of the season. It was a great way to end since she made it to the finals for her 200 and got second place on the high jump (4’2″ — which is pretty good considering the first time she ever tried the high jump was on Tuesday).

Other than that, there’s not too much to report. I did pretty well with spending at least a couple of hours on my writing (almost) every day. I still need to finish up a few things for my students though (I’ll confess I took a little break!).

Here’s what you may have missed on the blog this past week:

Book Blogger Birthdays and Blogoversaries:

Birthday-150 Blogoversary-150x150

Here are the birthdays and blogoversaries this week! I hope you’ll go wish these bloggers well on their special days! Make sure you check out the calendar to see what you might have just missed or what’s coming up. (If you want to be added to the calendar, it’s easy! Just fill out the birthday/blogoversary form.)

Book-Haul

From NetGalley/Edelweiss:

I got What If It’s Us, Kiss of the Royal, Grace and Fury and Kill the Farm Boy earlier this month and forgot to mention them. (There goes my good review/review copy ratio.) I also picked up Shadow of the Fox by Julie Kagawa (YESS!! Love her!)

Purchased:

S.J. Pajonas has another book out and I can’t wait to read it! Picked up Fukusha Model Eight with my Amazon rewards. Yay!

Great Discussions/Goings On Around the Blogosphere:

Pre-Order Deals:

Listed in order of release date. Any new deals that I just added to the list this week will be denoted with a *** so you can easily find them!

Please note: Almost all pre-order giveaways run “while supplies last,” so I can’t guarantee that they’ll be open until the date listed. Pre-0rder early for your best chance to get all the goodies!

Even More Awesome Giveaways:

Lots of good stuff! Have any giveaways or great discussions happening on your site right now? Feel free to share them in the comments!

  1. Congrats to your daughter for doing so well in the track meet! That’s awesome! Nice new books that you have added recently. I hope you love them all. I always feel a bit of guilt when I add new books because I always seem to be a bit behind but sometimes it cannot be helped 🙂 Have a great week!

  2. Congrats for your daughter! I’m so short, a high jump just wouldn’t be possible! Lol!

Nice new reads too! I just read Kill the Farm Boy and Shadow of the Fox this week and loved them! I hope you will love them too! (Unless you already read them, then I hope you loved them too! Lol!)

    Here’s my STS

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower 🙂

    • We were actually surprised that she’s so good at high jump since she’s only 5’3″. The girl who came in first is like six inches taller than her and has the LONGEST legs (it’s super impressive to watch her jump, actually). We were proud of Danielle for coming in second, though—her gymnastics background probably helps.

  3. Congrats to your daughter, that’s awesome! And yay for writing time. 🙂

Kill the Farm Boy looks interesting. And nice to see SJ Pajonas has her new book out!

  4. Yay for writing time! I kind of took May off as I was debating if I even wanted to write anymore. But the time off has been great for clearing my mind and figuring out that I do want to write. I got Shadow of the Fox as well and am excited to read another Kagawa book. Have a great week! Oh, and great job by your daughter at her last track meet!
