The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.
This past week on FYFA (and in my life):
Yikes! It’s Sunday night by the time I’m getting this up. I really do hope to get back on a normal schedule soon, but life is just hectic lately, and I usually work on the weekends, so if I don’t get the post written by Friday, it generally doesn’t happen.
- Apple picking. Both of my college-aged kids came home this weekend, and then we went apple picking and then out to dinner with extended family. I actually don’t think I’ve ever been apple picking before, but it was a fun outing!
What I Read This Week:
- I started reading Charlie Hernández and the League of Shadows by Ryan Calejo.
- I started listening to The Orpheus Plot by Christopher Swiedler.
What I Watched:
- I’ve mostly been watching NEW GIRL again this week. I’m on season 5.
Here’s what you may have missed on the blog since my last Sunday Post:

Apple picking sounds fun. Thanks for the birthday shout out. You are so good at remembering everyone!
Thanks so much for the shootout Nicole. This is indeed going to be my 12th blogiversary on September 29! Getting old here
I bet life will be more hectic now that you’re working. Glad you had fun apple picking.
Those love pop cards are pretty! I’m glad you were able to combine family with the fun of apple picking. I grew up quite near an orchard.

Thanks so much for the fun and informative post and site, Nicole! I hope you enjoy The Girl in White as much as I did. Lindsay Currie is a fantastic writer and it does not disappoint! All the best, Matt
I hope your life calms down a bit soon. I haven’t been apple picking in years, but it sounds like fun.
I love going apple picking! It’s a lot of fun and fresh apples are always a bonus.
Those are some fun book/card pairings. Moth is especially wonderful with that card. Awww. You’re so lucky they all came home to you. Hope you had some cider donuts while you picked (that’s really my motivation)
I remember New Girl! That was a fun show. and yes working on the weekends makes it tough to get posts out sometimes. I do a lot of my blogging on thr weekend too.
I’ve never been apple picking either; glad it was a fun time!! I’ve only watched random repeats of New Girl, but I like it! 🙂
