What’s been happening since my last Sunday Post:
I got my first round of edits back from my editor at Feiwel & Friends and started working on them! It’s very exciting to have forward momentum with the book. 🙂
I accidentally missed two Sunday Posts in a row. Oops! Not sure how I managed that. I’ve basically given in to the idea that I’m going to miss a Sunday Post here and there, but I definitely didn’t mean to miss two!
My poor pup Bella got an infection that caused a huge swollen lump under one of her eyes. She looked really goofy and ultra miserable for quite some time. Unfortunately, we (and the vet) thought it was allergies at first, which she’s prone to, so we got the swelling to go down a bit with steroids but then it just came back with a vengeance. That was when I read online that it might be an infection in her mouth or tooth, and sure enough… She just got done with antibiotics, and next week I take her in for a full dental and to get that tooth pulled. Not fun and super expensive, of course. Here’s a picture, but it looked way worse in real life…
Been planning our trip to Spain and Italy! Hard to believe we leave in less than three weeks! Danielle has been really enjoying her study abroad, and we can’t wait to join her in Spain.
What I Read:
I’ve listened to a lot more books recently because I’ve basically made it my goal to waste less time playing random crossword puzzles or word games on my phone and spend that time listening to books instead. And listening a little more led me to want to listen a lot more, so …
- I read Goth Girl, Queen of the Universe by Lindsay S. Zrull Always Isn’t Forever by J.C. Cervantes. Then I started reading The Chaperone by M. Hendrix.
- I finished listening to Wrong Place, Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister (so many twists and turns!!) and Reasons to Stay Alive by Matt Haig. Then I listened to Spell Sweeper by Lee Edward Födi (absolutely loved this book!!!), Fairest of All by Sarah Mlynowski, Throwback by Maureen Goo (such a fun trip back to the 80s), A Rover’s Story by Jasmine Warga, and I’m Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy (as good as everyone says it is, even for those of us who never watched iCarly). I then started listening to The Lotterys Plus One by Emma Donoghue.
What I Watched:
- I continued watching Sweet Tooth and started watching Sense8.
- Most of my family went to see Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse and Elemental, and my mom and I went to see The Little Mermaid. All three were great, and I’m glad we’ve been watching more movies again.

Aww! Poor Bella! Hope she’s doing better! I remember when one of our dogs was little he chipped his tooth on a rock. Because yes, he tried to eat a rock. Luckily it was a baby tooth at the time and I don’t think he required surgery for it but I can’t really remember. It was after that my grandpa would call him Rockhead since he tried to eat a rock. Lol. But yeah, dog surgeries, not fun. For the pocketbook or one’s sense of mind! Hope she’s recuperating well!
So happy for your trip! I haven’t traveled abroad since my one and only trip to Greece/Italy when I was in high school! Would love to go again but not sure I will ever get that same incredible deal I got back then! Lol. Hope you have a blast!

Oh no. Poor puppy. It’s always sad when they’re in a bad way and they can’t tell you what’s wrong. I hope she’s back to 100% soon.
I hope Bella’s doing okay, my Max had to have a few of his teeth pulled and thankfully he’s been better since getting them out. It always sucks when pets aren’t feeling well 💕
The Epic games cannot be downloaded and then installed on the console you are using, but you have to activate it first. Then you have to complete the process for the activation, which is very easy to understand, and then install it well on the console to play the epic games.
